Summit of Peace Pastors:
William N. Allshouse, CH
In May of 1990, Pastor
William N.
Allshouse accepted a call from
Summit of
Peace Lutheran Church and relocated
from Douglas, Wyoming where he had been serving the
dual parishes of Douglas and Glenrock. Since coming to
Summit of
Peace, Pastor
Allshouse has been an active member of
the community and has served on multiple boards of the Adams 12 Five Star
School District.
Pastor
Allshouse was
raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and received a Bachelor of Science degree from
West
Virginia
University.
His graduate work was done in Family Therapy at the
University of Illinois, and his Masters of Divinity in Pastoral
Psychology was conferred in 1978 by Concordia Theological Seminary. He received his certification in
Clinical Pastoral Education from the
Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska and St. Jude’s Hospital in
Memphis, Tennessee.
In addition to
Summit of
Peace and the
parishes in Wyoming, Pastor Allshouse has served parishes in
Tennessee, Nebraska and Illinois.
Jeremy Jacoby
Rev.
Jeremy Jacoby, a Colorado
native, is a graduate of Denver
Lutheran
High
School
(’89), Concordia University Irvine (’93) and St. Louis Seminary
(’97). Jeremy began his
ministry by working with youth in California,
Maryland
and Florida.
In 1997 he began serving his first parish in
Wilcox,
Nebraska
followed by serving as Associate Pastor for
Gethsemane
Lutheran
Church
in Northglenn,
Colorado. At Gethsemane
he worked with the families of the congregation as well as the students of
Gethsemane’s
Christian
Day
School
(PS-8). In 2007 Pastor Jacoby
planted a new church, Family of Christ, for the Rocky Mountain District of
the LCMS in Frederick Colorado. His wife, Julie, is a Senior Marketing and
Communications Manager for Hach Corp. and enjoys serving the Lord with her
voice. Jeremy and Julie have
two daughters, Jessica (2003) and Johanna (2005) who love singing in
church with their mom.
