We have a variety of programs to help to minister to people within Summit of Peace and the Thornton community and surrounding areas. With our music program, there are many opportunities for young and old to use their musical gifts and learn new skills. Through our Stephen Ministry, we provide one-to-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge.

We pray that this site will be used by our Lord to attract and inform future members about Summit of Peace.

As St. Augustine said, "Those who sing, pray twice." Music is not only a vital part of our church life but also one of the most moving ways to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There are opportunities for servants of every age to become a joyous part of the music ministry at Summit of Peace.

Each October, our church is involved in stewardship education. This program presents the true meaning of stewardship as a lifestyle which goes beyond just giving money. Jesus did not say, "Go a collect money." He said, "Go make disciples." This command encompasses all of life. In response to the love that Christ has shown to us on the cross, we seek to be faithful to His commission, giving our whole lives in service to Him, including the cheerful sharing of our resources - our time, talents and money - for the work of the Church and the physical and spiritual welfare of others.

"We hope you will make every effort to attend both church and Bible studies during this emphasis.

Talk: to one of the staff members or lay leaders about ways you could be involved with the music program, Stephen Ministry or any of our many other programs. You will be able to minister effectively to those in our congregation and people throughout Thornton, Brighton and the surrounding areas.
