For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Jesus Christ is the son of God, true God and true man, the second person in the Holy Trinity. He was begotten of His Father before all worlds and came down to Earth from Heaven as a human to live righteously under God's law for us because we could not. He lived a sinless life for us and took our sins upon himself as he was crucified on the cross for all sinners.

Jesus Christ is of one substance with the Father who created us all. He is our Redeemer, and through Him and his sacrifice of his precious innocent blood, God sees us as perfect creations, not as we are but what we have become through the blood of Christ
on the cross.

Jesus conquered death and the devil in his crucifixion, resurrection and ascension back into Heaven. Our belief in Him guarantees that we do not have to fear earthly death as an end to life because He has bought us eternal salvation by His death. His bodily ascension into Heaven in the company of His disciples proves that His Word is true because He foretold that it would happen.

Jesus was sent by God, the Father, to reveal to all people the love of the Father for his creations, and to die for all those creations, so whoever believed in Him would not perish but have everlasting life with Him in Heaven until the end of age.
